Central
Valley California Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program
A. Lujan Recovery Programs
Intensive Outpatient Treatment
offers hope to those suffering from the devastating consequences
of substance abuse. Our comprehensive substance abuse services
address the emotional, psychological, spiritual, and physical
well-being of the individual who is experiencing problems with
substance abuse. Our
treatment philosophy
focuses on the principles of total abstinence from mood or
mind-altering drugs and provides all that is needed to create
and maintain an
addiction free
future.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program
Intensive Outpatient treatment
is ideal for individuals that are transitioning from
Day Treatment
or
Residential Treatment
and for those clients with employment, family, or school
commitments where an evening treatment program best meets their
needs. It is designed for those who are able to achieve their
goals for abstinence from alcohol or other drugs while
continuing to participate fully in their lives, jobs, and
educational commitments. Clients interact with the real world
environment while receiving effective substance abuse treatment
and unparalleled compassionate care in a peer-oriented
structured therapeutic program. Client’s progress towards their
personal goals is assessed and reviewed weekly by their
Counselor and the A. Lujan Clinical Team to ensure careful
attention is being paid to the unique care needs of each client
in their journey towards freedom from addiction. Most clients
require a minimum of eight to ten weeks of
Intensive Outpatient treatment,
which meets four evenings per week from 6-9 pm.
Individualized Treatment
Each and every interaction between our team of professionals and
clients in our
Intensive Outpatient Program
is conducted with respect, dignity, consummate professionalism,
and confidentiality. Clients, together with their Counselor,
identify goals for themselves based on their unique needs and
aspirations. Goals we encourage clients to strive for include
clear, measurable steps for daily progress toward a drug-free
healthy lifestyle, a comprehensive current realistic and
balanced self-appraisal, and ways each client can give hope to
others in their lives who need productive, drug-free role models
to look to for inspiration.
Intensive Outpatient Treatment Components
Components of the
Intensive Outpatient Treatment program
include individual counseling, group counseling, psycho
educational groups focusing on addiction, skill-building groups,
relapse prevention education, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
assignments and exercises, and Family/Friend Education and
Support groups.
Prior to the completion of
Outpatient Intensive Treatment,
each client will be responsible to create a clear, specific,
individualized plan for their continued recovery in preparation
for the time when they complete
Outpatient Intensive Treatment.
The personalized recovery plan will consist of concrete,
specific, and measurable Recovery goals, and all the actions
required to meet those goals. The plan will then be reviewed
carefully by the client, read and reviewed by the client’s
outpatient peer group, and evaluated by the clinical treatment
team prior to completion of treatment.
Note: A. Lujan Recovery Programs is capable of facilitating
length’s of stay up to 1-year when after assessment: In certain
circumstances in which that type of treatment service is
warranted and appropriate. An Appointment for assessment is
recommended to determine the most suitable level of care, and
type of service needed for either yourself or your loved one.
